The above quote is the exact reason I love photography so much. It takes a moment that would otherwise be gone, relegated to a fuzzy memory, and holds onto it for you. It's magic.

Hey! I'm Genevieve True, the photographer behind TrueLee Photography in Chicago. I bring a unique perspective to my work, driven by my fascination with people and human nature. I'm an observant, easy-to-get-along-with introvert with a love for life and a low-key sense of humor. Based in the heart of Chicago (near Logan Square), I love city living and all it has to offer—food, adventures, cafes, people-watching, good stories, dancing, and exploring. I also love a good photo booth. In fact, I have a life rule for myself: if I see a photobooth, I have to stop and take a photo (you can see a few of them below).

My clients can expect me to be loving, loyal, and supportive, and I will do everything in my power to make their experience with me a good one. I strive to capture real, raw moments that others may miss, allowing my clients to stay fully present during their wedding and later relive their special day through my images. So whether you're tying the knot, or just looking to preserve some memories, I'm here to help you live it up, stay fully present, and relive all those amazing moments through my lens!
